Support Small Businesses and Jobs

High taxes and red tape have made living and working in Allegheny County increasingly difficult. As your councilwoman, I will fight to ensure business can not just survive in Allegheny County, but thrive, creating jobs that keep our best and brightest from moving away in search of work opportunities and ensuring robust economic growth.

Affordability

While our businesses struggle, many more of our neighbors are facing even more challenges, as property taxes and housing costs contribute to a stagnating, and even shrinking, population. As your councilwoman, I will fight against burdensome tax hikes and for responsibly increasing our housing supply, keeping Allegheny County affordable and helping support population growth.

Public Safety

Residents of Allegheny County deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods. I’m a strong supporter of our first responders, and as your councilwoman I will ensure that they have the funding they need to effectively serve our community and keep our communities safe.

Fiscal Responsibility

Residents of Allegheny County have been treated as a piggy bank by County Council, with their tax dollars being inefficiently and irresponsibly spent. As your councilwoman, I will be a fierce advocate for lowering the tax burden on our residents, cutting wasteful spending and putting that money back in your pocket.

Common Sense Government

Instead of focusing on finding solutions to local issues, too many politicians are preoccupied with Washington and becoming involved in divisive partisan politics. As your representative in local government, I pledge to be a vocal advocate focused on common sense, bipartisan solutions to local problems.
